Job description
We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens position in Eureka, California. This is an inpatient and outpatient assignment at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
Manage a caseload of approximately 12-15 patients per shift
Develop and oversee treatment plans, including chemotherapy and supportive care management
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team on complex oncology cases
Complete clinical documentation in Epic
Qualifications
Active California medical license required
DEA required
BLS certification required
Working Hours
Day shifts, 9 hours
Scheduled clinical hours plus call - on-call coverage is required in addition to scheduled clinic time
