Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a flexible locum assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a remote inbox coverage opportunity with a predictable schedule and no call responsibilities.
Coverage: Starting October 2026
Assignment: 26 weeks
Schedule: 5 days/month
Setting: Outpatient | Hospital & clinic privileges required
Job Responsibilities
Infusion and medical oncology care
Evaluation and management of adult and geriatric patients
Bone marrow biopsies
Diagnosis and treatment planning
Hospital and outpatient clinical care
Remote inbox management and patient follow-up
EPIC documentation
Qualifications
✅ Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
✅ Active Alaska Medical License in hand at presentation
✅ DEA
✅ BLS, ACLS, or PALS
✅ Recent hematology/medical oncology clinical experience
✅ Case logs documenting relevant clinical activity within the past 24 months
✅ Clean professional/credentialing history preferred for expedited credentialing
Working Hours
1-hour lunch break
8-hour workday
Approximately 5 days of coverage per month
