Locum Hematology Oncologist in Santa Cruz, California.
Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: September 29, 2026
End Date: Ongoing (Potential for Permanent Hire)
Details
- Patient Population: Adult
- Setting: Ambulatory/Outpatient Hematology & Oncology Clinic
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care, evaluate and manage new and established patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team, and deliver patient-centered treatment.
- Required Procedures: General Hematology & Oncology patient evaluation and management.
- EMR System: Cerner
- Support Staff: Dedicated RNs, nurse navigators, social workers, pharmacy liaison, research coordinators, genetic counselors, and multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Days Per Month: Tuesday–Friday schedule (Full-Time Coverage)
Requirements
- Active California Medical License (Required)
- Active DEA (Required)
- Completion of an Accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (Required)
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology (Highly Preferred); Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology/Oncology will also be considered
- Clean Malpractice & Background History (Required)
- Active BLS Certification (Highly Preferred)
