Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Clinic + Night Call | Paducah, KY
Why This Role
* Ongoing hematology/oncology coverage opportunity
* Primarily outpatient practice with limited inpatient responsibilities
* Established oncology program with long-term coverage needs
* Epic EMR
* Adult patient population only
Assignment Details
* Start Date: October 2026
* End Date: Ongoing
* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
* Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
* Schedule: Monday-Friday
* Call: 3-6 night call shifts per month
* EMR: Epic
* Average Patient Volume: 22 patients per day
* New Consults: 2-3 per day
* Patient Mix: Approximately 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology
* Practice Mix: Approximately 95% Clinic and 5% Hospital
Requirements
* Board Certified Hematology or Medical Oncology
* Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
* BLS
* ACLS
* COVID Vaccination
* Outpatient and Inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience
* Intrathecal Chemotherapy experience
* Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days of presentation
* Active KY license highly preferred
* Clean history preferred
Clinical Details
* Adult hematology and oncology patients
* Outpatient clinic coverage
* Inpatient consultative support
* Management of hematologic and oncologic conditions
* Intrathecal chemotherapy procedures
* Intracavitary chemotherapy experience welcomed
