**Hematology/Oncology Medical Director Opening in VT**
- Located in Bennington, VT; Albany 40m
- Full-time; Permanent position
- BE/BC
- Minimum of five years of clinical practice and two years of clinical leadership experience
**Overview**
- 70/30 split between direct patient care and administrative activities
- Provides clinical oversight to ensure efficient and effective clinical operations are achieved and maintained
- Participate in and be a change advocate for the development and implementation of new medical strategic initiatives
- Assure compliance with national accreditations
- Advocate for and demonstrate success in enrolling patients in cancer center clinical trials and assist in the development of an expanded clinical research program
- Participate in the organization of clinical information systems to improve patient safety and enhance care delivery
- Lead provider recruitment activities
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities
- Perform provider performance evaluations
**Benefits**
- Salary Range $500,000 - $510,000; this position includes a comprehensive benefits package through Dartmouth Health
- A sign-on bonus, retention incentives and relocation stipend may be available, subject to eligibility
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 C 3 nonprofit status
