Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician

📍 Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania (with coverage in Waynesboro as needed)
📅 Start Date: Upon credentialing (as early as possible)
📆 Contract Length: Through March 31, 2027 (ongoing potential)
👥 Openings: 4 Positions Available

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• 🗓️ Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM clinic schedule
• ⚖️ Full-time preferred (minimum 3 days/week considered)
• 📞 1 week/month call rotation
• 🌙 Includes weekend + night call coverage
• 🧘 Predictable clinic structure with flexible inpatient coordination

Practice Setting

• Community Cancer Institute (ACS-accredited)
• 🏥 Two-site coverage: Chambersburg & Waynesboro Hospitals
• 👩‍⚕️ Support team: NP + virtual hematologist + RN infusion staff
• 💻 EMR/Dictation: Epic + Nuance

Clinical Highlights

• 👨‍⚕️ Adult-only patient population
• 📊 Average: ~15 patients/day
• 🆕 ~2 new consults/day

Case Mix Includes:

• Lung, breast, prostate & colorectal cancers 🎗️
• Select hematologic conditions
• Community oncology with some complex referrals to tertiary centers

Treatment & Infusion Services

• Chemotherapy & immunotherapy
• IVIG & IV iron
• Injections & supportive therapies
• 🚫 No inpatient chemotherapy administration
• 🏥 Onsite infusion support + hospital infusion centers

Requirements

• Board Certified (double board preferred) in Hematology/Oncology
• Fellowship required
• Active Pennsylvania License (IMLC considered)
• Willing to license in PA
• Experience: all levels considered (more experienced preferred)

Credentialing

• Timeline: 90–120 days
