Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management for patients with cancer and blood disorders in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Job Responsibilities
• Develop individualized chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatment plans
• Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and survivorship care
• Monitor treatment response, side effects, and disease progression
• Provide inpatient consults and coordinate hospital-based oncology care
• Collaborate with radiology, surgery, pathology, and primary care teams
• Participate in clinical trials, quality initiatives, and evidence-based programs
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and supportive care
• Manage symptom control, pain management, and palliative discussions when needed
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Completion of Internal Medicine Residency
• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
• Active New York medical license or eligible
• Strong clinical judgment and compassionate bedside manner
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
