📝 Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our growing outpatient practice. This role focuses on providing high-quality care for adult patients through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. The physician will also provide inpatient consults as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Manage 18–20 adult patients per day 👥
Provide outpatient clinic care and occasional inpatient consults 🏥
Administer and oversee cancer therapies including chemo, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments 💉
Collaborate with NPs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care 🤝
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR 💻
Adhere to professional dress code and hospital protocols 👔
Qualifications
MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology 🎓
NY State Medical License in hand 🗽
Minimum 5 years clinical experience preferred, adaptable and flexible for a growing program 🌱
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills 🩺
Epic EMR experience required 💻
Working Hours
Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 🗓️
1-hour lunch break included 🥪
Occasional inpatient consults during operating hours
All orientation hours billable 🧾
