Job description
A Hematology Oncology Physician is needed for an outpatient-focused assignment in New York. The provider will manage oncology patients in a growing cancer program with infusion services and collaborative support staff. This position offers a weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage chemotherapy treatments
• Administer immunotherapy and targeted therapy
• Manage hormone therapy treatment plans
• Provide occasional inpatient consults
• Collaborate with APP and nursing staff
• Review infusion center cases
• Document in Epic EMR
• Manage adult oncology patient population
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology Oncology
• Active New York license required
• Minimum 5 years experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1 hour lunch break
• No call required
• 6–9 month assignment
