Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Richmond, VA Why This Role * Primarily inpatient oncology coverage with manageable daily census * Opportunity to oversee experienced NP support * Academic-oriented environment with research enrollment participation * Epic EMR with established oncology service line Assignment Details * Start Date: 04/01/2026 * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call * Schedule: Monday-Friday weekly coverage; April coverage needed with ongoing potential * Patients per Day: 12-15 inpatient; limited outpatient coverage during physician vacation * Call Details: Call required; details to be provided * EMR: Epic Requirements * Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology * Active Virginia license * ACLS and BLS * Clean history * NPDB required at name clear * Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Clinical Details * Scope: Inpatient and outpatient hematology and medical oncology coverage including oversight of NP and participation in research enrollment * Typical Procedures: * Management of solid tumor malignancies * Hematologic malignancy management * Chemotherapy ordering and management * Inpatient oncology consults * Treatment plan development * Research study patient enrollment Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
