- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- On Call required
- Shift: Day, 8 Hours
- Call Schedule: 1 week/month, both inpatient and phone calls, 0-2 calls/day
- Weekend Coverage: Yes
- Night Call: Yes
Clinical Details
- Patient Age Group: Adults
- Patients per Day: Average 15
- New vs Follow-up Ratio: Average 2 new patients/day
- Oncology vs Hematology Breakdown: 2/3 Oncology, 1/3 Hematology
- Types of Cases: Lung, breast, prostate, colorectal, some blood cancers
- Infusions: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, non-chemotherapy injections
- Procedures: Port access (RNs complete this work)
- Support Staff: 1 NP, 1 virtual hematologist
- EMR: Nuance
- Hospital Bed Size: 274
- Accreditation: Accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS)
- Tumor Board Participation: Yes
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Willing to License: Yes, PA license preferred
- Fellowship
- Experience: Less experienced providers considered
