This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults, with strong support from APPs and a collaborative oncology team. Exciting long-term locum opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a well-established cancer care program. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults, with strong support from APPs and a collaborative oncology team. Ideal for providers seeking consistent, ongoing coverage with diverse case exposure! 🌟
Job Responsibilities
🔹 Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care
🔹 Manage patient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
🔹 Support inpatient and ER consults as needed
🔹 Oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments
🔹 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tumor boards
🔹 Supervise APPs and assist with urgent patient needs
Qualifications
✔️ Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
✔️ Fellowship trained required
✔️ Active Pennsylvania License (or willing to obtain)
✔️ Experience in both oncology and hematology preferred
✔️ Strong clinical and patient management skills
Working Hours
🕒 Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
📅 Full-Time Ongoing (Minimum 3 days/week accepted)
📞 Call: 1 week/month (low volume, 0–2 calls/day)
