We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a long-term locum opportunity in Lancaster, PA. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and call coverage, working in a supportive environment with APPs and oncology-certified staff. Ideal for providers looking for consistent, full-time coverage in a collaborative setting.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to adult patients 🩺
Manage both benign and malignant hematologic conditions and solid tumors
Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
Participate in call coverage including nights and weekends ⏰
Collaborate with APPs, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology ✔️
Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
DEA certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Working Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰
Full-time schedule with ongoing assignment (minimum 6 months)
Night call: ~10 days/month | Weekend call: 2 weekends/month 📅
Skills
Strong clinical expertise in oncology and hematology 🎗️
Ability to manage diverse patient cases
Excellent communication and patient care skills 🤝
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
