Job description
Are you a Hematology/Oncology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Michigan might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Preferred schedule 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, occasional night and weekend call included. 2 weeks per month (consecutive preferred). Ongoing assignments starting 5/25 (8a-4p) Orientation, 5/26(8a)-6/6(8a)
- Job Setting: 4 provider group employed practice with 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix. Collegial and supportive practice environment
- Types of Cases: Average patient load of 10-15 patients per day. 60 minute new patient consults, 30 minute follow ups. Call currently 1:2 with very few calls (can be performed via phone). Rounding of inpatients that are current patients of the practice is typically done by APPs. Practice is 99% outpatient and no inductions are completed at the facility
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe 60 days. Site is NOT accepting IMLC
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: Fellowship 2
