Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Clinic)
- Full-time coverage required
Call Schedule:
- 1:2 call rotation
- Weekend coverage: 2 weekends per month (24-hour call)
- Night call: Approximately 10 days per month
- Weekday call hours: 4:15 PM – 8:00 AM
- Light call volume (typically 2–3 calls in the evening)
Practice Details:
- Setting: Oncology clinic with hospital coverage
- APP support for rounding (physician oversight required)
- Full patient panel
- All hours billable (2 hours rounding on weekends considered gratis)
- Patient Population: Rural community setting, adult oncology and hematology
- Patients/day: 15
- Adults/peds: Adults Oncology vs hematology breakdown: 60 hem/40 onc
- Physician to see all solid tumor and benign and malignant heme
- Infusion/Treatment: 14 chair, 2 bedroom infusion room on site.
- Serves as community infusion center.
- Oncology certified nurses Infusions handled in clinic: No
- Infusion center on site: Yes
- EMR system: EPIC
- Practice Setting: Clinic/Hospital
- APP support: 3 APPs
Procedures & Responsibilities:
- Outpatient oncology care
- Inpatient consults and call coverage
- Coordination with radiation oncology team
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted) or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
