Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in a multi-site outpatient setting.
This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, manageable patient volume, and a mix of oncology and hematology care, supported by a collaborative clinical team.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~5–10% of Hematology/Oncology locum roles (2026 market data)
$450 / hour
Assignment Highlights
- Full-time ongoing coverage (minimum 3 days/week accepted)
- Clinic schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call rotation: ~1 week per month
- Call type: phone + inpatient consults
- Call volume: 0–2 calls per day
- Multi-site coverage (Chambersburg + Waynesboro)
- EMR: Epic
- ~15 patients/day
- Adult patient population
- Travel reimbursed per policy
- Malpractice insurance covered
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Evaluate new consults and manage follow-ups
- Interpret diagnostics and manage treatment plans
- Support inpatient and ED consults as needed
- Participate in call rotation
- Supervise clinic workflows periodically
- Document all care in Epic
