We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide exceptional care in a vibrant community setting. This key role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse adult patient population, including solid tumors and benign and malignant hematology cases, in a supportive environment committed to clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. If you are passionate about oncology and hematology and eager to contribute to a multidisciplinary team, this position is perfect for you.
Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- DEA license and eligibility for licensing or IMLC consideration
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in hematology/oncology
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills, including ability to perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in rural or community healthcare settings
- Prior participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings
- Familiarity with infusion center operations
- Additional language skills pertinent to patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
- Proven success managing a diverse adult oncology and hematology patient panel
- At least one year of post-fellowship clinical practice
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on the scheduled start date of 05/10/2026
- Ability to work fulltime (Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts)
- Willingness to participate in weekend and night call rotations (average 10 days/month)
- Participation in tumor board discussions and community infusion services
- Compliance with all credentialing requirements, with an expedited process available for qualified applicants
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $480.39
- Competitive pay packages, paid weekly via direct deposit
