Healthcare United is seeking a Medical Oncologist Hematologist to join a growing and well supported oncology program in Western Pennsylvania. This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient care and inpatient consults within a collaborative environment supported by advanced practice providers and specialized oncology staff. Physicians will have access to clinical trials advanced treatment options and a strong referral network. This opportunity provides excellent professional growth and work life balance
Job Responsibilities
• Manage chemotherapy treatment plans and supportive therapies
• Participate in inpatient consult services as part of shared rotation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Engage in clinical trials and advanced treatment protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR system
Qualifications
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical oncology and hematology experience
• Ability to work in a team based environment
Working Hours
• Monday through Friday daytime hours
• Shared call rotation
• Balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
Skills
• Strong clinical decision making and treatment planning skills
• Experience with chemotherapy and infusion management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
