Description
A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum assignment with ongoing coverage. The provider will manage both hematology and oncology patients in a community-based setting supported by APPs and onsite infusion services.
This opportunity includes weekday clinic coverage, shared call rotation, and minimal procedural requirements.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care
- Manage solid tumor and benign/malignant hematology cases
- Participate in shared call rotation (1:2)
- Provide limited inpatient rounding during call
- Coordinate with infusion center and radiation oncology
- Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary team
- Participate in tumor board discussions
- Document encounters using Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Clinic Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Volume:
Approximately 15 patients per day
Call Schedule:
- 1:2 call rotation
- Night call: 10 days per month
- Weekend call: 2 weekends per month
- Weekday call: 4:15 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend: 24-hour call
Coverage Needed:
Full-time ongoing (minimum 6 month commitment)
