New Job Details – Oregon Hematology/Oncology Locums
Location: Oregon (please inquire for specific location)
Duration: June 2026 and on-going (3-6 months to start)
Reason for coverage: current providers going to .5
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday (ideally 3 days/week - minimum of 2)
Shift: 8am-6:00pm
Call: "some" phone call only
>You do not come back into the Cancer Center/hospital
>Only on call for established patients (0-1/day)
>Non-established patients go to ED and work with Hospital for concerns
Clinic patient volume: Average daily patients: 10-12, no more than 2 new patients a day.
> 30-minute appointments, 2 new patient visits > 1-hour appointments
Scope: Hematology/Oncology
EMR: Cerner Community Works, EPIC
Hospital: 25 bed critical access hospital, Level IV trauma designation
Group/support: 1.5 MED ONC's and 1 APP
Supporting Staff: Physician provider has a dedicated nurse navigator and medical assistant, 2 pharmacists, social worker, register dietitian, infusion nurses, Lab, PET/CT weekly, radiation therapy, infusion, pharmacy, NO APP (They are recruiting a perm APP). 1 other MD, 10 infusion chairs. We also have an experienced medical oncology NP
Requirements (boards, license): Must be Board Certified (hematology and oncology ideally)
