Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with active medical license in Kentucky
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology
- Proven experience in adult hematology and oncology patient management
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in EPIC EMR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with complex oncology cases
- Prior locum or hospital-based practice experience
- Additional certifications, such as Chemotherapy or Palliative Care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency or fellowship experience in Hematology & Oncology
- Prior experience working in outpatient clinic settings and hospital consults
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 03/21/2026 and commit to ongoing coverage
- Must possess or be able to obtain Kentucky medical licensure
- Ability to handle an average patient census of 22 per day, including 2-3 new consults
- Willingness to work primarily in outpatient clinic settings with some hospital responsibilities
- Valid medical credentials and compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations
