Locum-to-Perm - Hematology/Oncology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Hematologist-Oncologist (Locum to Perm)

This locum-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity for physicians to provide essential care in a dynamic environment. With a focus on adult patients, you'll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality oncology and hematology services.

Facility Highlights:

• 100% Adult patient population
• 95% clinic; 5% hospital work
• 70% Oncology; 30% Hematology focus
• Utilizing EPIC EMR system
• Average patient census: 22/day; including 2-3 new consults

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with hematologic and oncological conditions.
• Manage clinical assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations.
• Provide intrathecal and intracavitary chemotherapy as required.
• Participate in on-call duties, including weekend coverage.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
• Completion of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (REQUIRED)
• KY State License (Highly Preferred)
• COVID Vaccination (REQUIRED)
• BLS & ACLS certifications (REQUIRED)
• Experience in Outpatient/Inpatient Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
• Competence in Intrathecal Chemotherapy (REQUIRED)
• Experience with Intracavitary Chemotherapy (Highly Preferred)
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:
