We are seeking a locum provider for a long-term assignment (6 months to 1 year) due to a leave of absence. The role involves both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic work within a Level I Trauma center.
-Schedule: 3–4 clinic days (M-F) 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; includes some weekends and infrequent night call.
-Team: Large collaborative group including 10 Physicians and 8 APPs.
-Charting: EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities
-Handle an average of 10 patients per day for hospital consults and 15 for outpatient clinic.
-Participate in a 1:10 night call rotation and 2–3 weekend rotations per year.
-Provide care strictly for Adult/Geriatric populations (No Internal Medicine).
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Connecticut license in hand at time of submission [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Must provide a Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the current month of submission [REQUIRED].
-Geography: Local candidates with no flight requirements are [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Working Hours
-Availability: ASAP start; 130-day estimated credentialing timeframe.
Skills
-Proficiency in EPIC EMR.
-Ability to commit to a long-term assignment (up to 1 year).
