📢 Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity – Rhode Island
Location: Providence, RI
Start Date: May 2026 (ASAP)
Position Type: Full-Time Locums
🩺 Position Overview
Join a well-established oncology program providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This is a great opportunity for a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician looking for a consistent full-time schedule with a mix of clinic, rounding, and call coverage.
📅 Schedule Details
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM (Outpatient Clinic)
Inpatient Rounding: 1–2 hours daily
Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (1–2 weekends/month)
👩⚕️ Clinical Details
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Outpatient: 18–22 patients/day
Inpatient: Varies based on consults
Procedures: Biopsies as needed
EMR: 80% Paper | 20% MEDITECH
✅ Requirements
Board-Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Rhode Island medical license & DEA (or willingness to obtain)
Emergency privileges available for quicker start
