Position Overview
One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist or Oncologist for a predictable outpatient locum tenens assignment focused primarily on benign hematology with general oncology exposure.
This assignment offers a 4-day schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing providers to focus entirely on patient care in a well-supported ambulatory oncology clinic. Physicians typically see approximately 15 adult patients per day and work alongside an established care team including oncology nurses, advanced practice providers, infusion specialists, pharmacy support, and administrative staff.
The clinical mix is primarily benign hematology (~60–65%) with routine oncology care including new consults and follow-ups. The practice uses Epic EMR and offers a collaborative environment with manageable patient volumes and strong support.
