An excellent locum opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology Physician is available in Minot, North Dakota. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong multidisciplinary support, and a balanced oncology and hematology case mix in an outpatient cancer care setting.

🩺 Position

Hematology / Oncology Physician (Locum)

📅 Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP

• Full-time coverage needed

• Long-term locum coverage available

• Opportunity for ongoing assignments depending on availability

⏰ Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 8-hour daytime shifts

• Outpatient clinic schedule

• Weekend call optional and limited (approximately once per month)

🏥 Practice Setting

• Outpatient oncology clinic

• Collaborative multidisciplinary cancer care team including:

  • Medical Hematology/Oncology Physician

  • Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

  • Two Radiation Oncologists

👩‍⚕️ Patient Volume

• Clinic patients: Approximately 16 per day

• Infusion patients: Approximately 30 per day

Providers will manage a balanced caseload of oncology and hematology patients (approximately 50/50 mix).

💻 Technology

• EMR: Currently Cerner

• Transitioning to Epic (Beacon oncology platform) in the future

📋 Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology / Oncology Physician

• Experience managing both oncology and hematology patients

• Comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient oncology setting
