  • Other Details: We are seeking a hematology and medical oncology provider to start as soon as possible, ideally full-time, for an outpatient cancer center with 12 exam rooms and an infusion center with 16 chairs and 2 private infusion rooms. The role includes providing comprehensive outpatient care, managing new consultations (30–45 minutes) and follow-up visits (15–20 minutes), collaborating closely with radiation oncology, surgical specialists, and hospital teams, and participating in multidisciplinary care planning. Inpatient care is supported by advanced practice providers, and no procedures are required. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with after-hours answering service for urgent calls and additional compensation for weekend call, limited to the outpatient location. Providers with limited availability (minimum two days per week) must be available to respond to staff regarding their patients. The assignment is initially anticipated through June.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

* Physician (MD or DO) specializing in hematology and medical oncology
* Experience in outpatient oncology care
* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Working Hours

* Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM outpatient clinic hours
* After-hours answering service for urgent calls
* Additional compensation for weekend call (location-specific)
* Full-time preferred; minimum two days per week with call responsiveness acceptable
* Assignment initially through June
