Job description We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dedicated, innovative team. This role focuses on providing world-class cancer care with a commitment to advancing treatments and clinical trials in a highly supportive, collaborative environment in Northern Colorado.

-Schedule: Daytime shifts with potential flexibility; minimal weekend requirements.
-Location: Fort Collins, CO.
-Team: 9 Physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
-Charting: EPIC EMR.

  • Financial: Salary range of $489,000 – $543,000 plus quality/productivity bonus potential; relocation package available for eligible candidates.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide direct patient care for individuals with various types of cancer and hematological disorders (Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma).
-Collaborate with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
-Stay at the forefront of innovative treatments, including immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
-Participate in clinical research and apply new treatment methodologies.
-Offer consultations, second opinions, and specialized treatment plans for complex cases.

Qualifications

-Board Certification: Required in Hematology and Oncology (Board Eligible accepted if within 5 years of residency).
-Licensure: Active Colorado Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
-Credentialing: Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) and active DEA required prior to start.
-Visa Support: Unable to support J1 or H1B visa candidates.

Working Hours

-Shifts: Daytime shifts with potential flexibility depending on scheduling needs.
-Call: Minimal call responsibility, shared with a large team of 13 clinicians and two oncology hospitalists.
-Availability: Permanent placement only; no locums or locums-to-perm.

Skills

-Advanced proficiency in malignant hematology (Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma).
-Expertise in EPIC EMR charting and documentation.
-Strong collaborative skills for working within a multidisciplinary medical team.
