An established community oncology practice in Los Angeles, California is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology & Oncology Physician to join a growing outpatient cancer care program.
This role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered oncology care within a collaborative environment supported by dedicated Advanced Practice Providers, nursing teams, and medical assistants. Physicians work within an integrated care model designed to reduce administrative burden and allow providers to focus on delivering exceptional cancer care.
The practice supports comprehensive oncology services including infusion therapy, clinical collaboration through tumor boards, and participation in research initiatives. This opportunity also offers long-term career growth potential including physician leadership and clinical program development.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat cancer and blood disorders
• Develop individualized oncology treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and tumor boards
• Supervise and work closely with Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff
• Participate in patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
• Participate in shared call coverage schedule
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
• Eligible for or active California Medical License
• Fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology required
• Strong commitment to patient-centered cancer care
• Interest in clinical collaboration and multidisciplinary oncology care
Working Hours
Outpatient Clinic Hours
Shared Call Rotation (approximately every 4 weekends)
