On Call Requirements: Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients
Shift(s) Description: Days, Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call
Job Description:
- Candidates can be BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will be onsite alone a majority of the time (until a second provider is hired).
- Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital rounds
- Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
- Practice is in a phase of rebuilding
- Desired start date: ASAP
- Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25
- On-site Radiation Oncology department
- Robust Oncology supportive services
- 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist
- On-site laboratory services

- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Submission Requirements
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology - [REQUIRED]
- SC License (or willing to obtain) - [REQUIRED]
- Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology - [REQUIRED]
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED] * no exemption, required at presentation
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - [REQUIRED] * no exemptions
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - [REQUIRED] * no exemptions
