Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Clinic + Call | Coos Bay, OR Why This Role

  • Established outpatient cancer center with solid tumor focus and timely referrals
  • Balanced clinic schedule with APP and radiation oncology support
  • Ongoing coverage need with consistent minimum commitment
Assignment Details Start ASAP with ongoing coverage Minimum commitment of two weeks per month required Clinic schedule four to five days per week, 8:30a–4:30p Administrative day or half day available if needed Call coverage one in four rotation including one weekend Estimated credentialing timeframe six to eight weeks Clinical Details Outpatient practice in a freestanding cancer center Focus on solid tumor oncology with limited benign hematology Approximate case mix 80 percent oncology and 20 percent hematology Average clinic volume 10–15 patients per day Inpatient involvement only when patients are admitted for chemotherapy Radiation oncology services available onsite Two advanced practice providers supporting the service EMR system is Epic Requirements Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology Active Oregon license preferred or willingness to obtain Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred CAQH profile required at time of offer DEA required at name clear Self-Query NPDB required at time of presentation Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
