A well-established healthcare organization in Hartford, CT is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a long-term locum assignment. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults, working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers in a busy oncology practice.

🩺 Practice Details

• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
• Case Mix: Approximately 80% Hematology / 20% Oncology
• Patient Volume:

• Inpatient consults: ~10 patients per day

• Outpatient clinic: ~15 patients per day
  • Care Team: 10 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Trauma Level: Level I

📅 Schedule

• 3 Clinic Days Per Week (Monday–Friday)
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Occasional Call Coverage:

• Night call: approximately 1:10 rotation

• Weekend call: 2–3 weekends per year

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Connecticut Medical License
• Recent NPDB Self-Query Report (pulled within the same month as submission)
