We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan. This role features a structured outpatient clinic schedule supplemented by virtual weekday call, offering a premium daily rate and additional call compensation.
Job Responsibilities
-Provide coverage for 40 hours per week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
-Participate in Virtual Weekday Call from 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM.
-Collaborate with the oncology care team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Qualifications
-Active Michigan Medical License and DEA.
-Experience in a high-volume outpatient oncology clinic.
-Ability to handle overnight virtual call responsibilities.
Working Hours
-Call: After-hours virtual call (4:30 PM – 8:00 AM).
-Weekend: No Weekend Call required.
Skills
-Proficiency in clinical documentation and outpatient workflow management.
-Excellent communication skills for patient education and virtual call coordination.
