Clinic Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Patient Volume: 8–10 patients per clinic day
Patient Type: New Oncology & Hematology referrals
Infusion Center Coordination: Work closely with the infusion center charge nurse regarding labs and treatment questions
Minimum Board Certification: Certified
What is the license requirement to bid: Licensed in IL or IMLC
EMR System: Epic
Is Hospital Stroke Certified: No
Patients Per Shift: 8-10
Practice Setting: Small clinic
Call Coverage:
- Weekday Call: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour in-house call
- Weekend Patient Census: Average of 1–2 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
- See inpatient consults when requested
- Hospitalists admit new patients
- Locum evaluates patients in hospital and initiates transfer if needed
- Exposure to Acute Leukemia / Malignant Hematology cases: Yes
Requirements:
- Board Certified - Required
- IL license/IMLC - Required
- BLS - Required
