🩺 Locum Hematology / Oncology Physician – Hartford, Connecticut | Long-Term Assignment

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a long-term assignment with a collaborative team and a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care.

📍 Location
Hartford, Connecticut

⏳ Assignment Details

• Start: As soon as credentialed

• Length: 6 months – 1 year (possible extension)

• Credentialing timeframe: ~130 days

🗓 Schedule

• 3 clinic days per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

• Infrequent night and weekend call

• Weekend call: 2–3 per year

• Night call rotation: 1:10

🏥 Practice Setting

• Inpatient consults + Outpatient clinic

• Adults / Geriatric patients

• Case mix: 80% Hematology | 20% Oncology

• No Internal Medicine coverage

👩‍⚕️ Team Structure

• 10 Physicians

• 8 Advanced Practice Providers

• Patient volume:

  • ~10 patients per day (hospital)

  • ~15 patients per day (outpatient)

⚙️ Facility Details

• Level I Trauma Center

• EMR: Epic

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified – Required

• Active Connecticut License – Required at submission (No exceptions)

• Local candidates preferred (no flights)

• Self-Query NPDB report required (same month as submission)
