The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI), a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and the only Federally Recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of Excellence South of Chicago, seeks a Vice President of Research for our industry-leading team in Peoria, Illinois (IL).
Position Details/Research Overview:
- Focus primarily on research with one clinic day a week
- Seeking an MD/DO Candidate
- Observational, Phase I, II, and III trials
- Antithrombin Study: ATN-106
- Data collection studies: ATHN 10, CDC/Registry for bleeding disorders, and SCINR
- Hemophilia Studies: OBS17523
- Von Willebrand Disease Studies: BCDI-XII, TAK-577-3001, Bloodworks VIP, and Zimmerman

Ideal traits/preferred experience with:
- Clinical and translational research in Hematology and/or Pediatric Hematology
- Conducting, analyzing, and reporting research findings
- Grant writing and funding acquisition for research projects
Compensation:
- Salary in the range of $225,000-$280,000 - Negotiable
- Comprehensive platinum-level benefits and a retirement plan with a 5% match
