A leading Colorado-based academic healthcare system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a collaborative and forward-thinking cancer care team in Fort Collins, Colorado.

This opportunity offers the chance to practice within a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to advancing oncology treatments and clinical trials. Physicians will work alongside an established team of nine physicians and eight advanced practice providers delivering disease-specific, patient-centered cancer care. The practice emphasizes innovation, coordinated care, and high clinical standards with minimal call responsibilities shared across a large team.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide consultations and second opinions
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurse navigators, and care managers to coordinate high-quality care
• Participate in clinical trials and incorporate evidence-based, emerging therapies
• Manage documentation and patient care through Epic EMR
• Deliver disease-specific oncology services within a team-based model
• Share minimal call coverage with a large group of clinicians and hospitalists
• Maintain clinical excellence and patient-centered communication

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• DEA license (must obtain prior to start)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required at presentation
• Clean malpractice and license history preferred
• Must be seeking permanent placement (not accepting locums or locums-to-perm)
• Visa sponsorship not available

Working Hours

• Full-time permanent position
• Primarily outpatient-based practice
• Minimal shared call responsibilities

• Expertise in hematologic malignancies and solid tumor management
• Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills
