We are seeking a Locum Hematology Oncology Physician for an outpatient-focused assignment in a scenic coastal community in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role offers a balanced schedule, supportive multidisciplinary team, and the opportunity to provide high-quality cancer care in a modern, free-standing cancer center. Ideal for physicians seeking ongoing locum work with flexibility and excellent support.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and medical oncology care
• Evaluate new consultations and manage follow-up visits
• Collaborate with APPs, radiation oncology, and inpatient teams
• Participate in call coverage on a shared rotation
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active Oregon license or ability to obtain
• Clean background with NPDB self-query
• Strong commitment to patient-centered cancer care
Working Hours
• 4–5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Administrative day or half-day available if needed
• Call rotation 1:4, including one weekend per month
• Ongoing need (minimum 2 weeks per month required)
