📍 Position Overview

• Specialty: Hematology / Medical Oncology
• Location: Ohio
• Start: ASAP
  
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center
• Call: Light, after-hours triaged service

🏥 Practice Environment

• Modern, fully integrated onsite cancer center
• 12 exam rooms (9 dedicated to medical oncology)
• Infusion center with 16 chairs + 2 private rooms
• Robust multidisciplinary support team including:
  • Advanced Practice Providers
  • RN Navigators
  • Social Workers
  • Dieticians
  • Oncology Pharmacist
  • Research & Genetics services
• Strong collaboration with radiation oncology and surgical teams
• Inpatient care supported by APPs
• No required procedures

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Hematology/Oncology care
• Conduct new consults and follow-up visits
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
• Coordinate closely with specialty teams
• Manage patient care within a collaborative model

📞 Call & Coverage

• After-hours answering service screens calls
• Only urgent issues escalated
• Weekend call compensated
• Call limited to clinic location
• No heavy inpatient call burden

✅ Required Qualifications

• ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Ohio medical license
• Self-query NPDB required
• International graduates welcome if ABMS certified
