A well-established, accredited community cancer program in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join a growing team of oncologists and advanced practice providers. This physician-led medical group promotes leadership, wellness, and work-life balance while offering the autonomy to build and shape your own practice within a cohesive team environment.
The program provides comprehensive oncology services including radiation oncology, infusion therapy, genetic testing, and access to clinical trials. The position includes clinic coverage in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa, with inpatient consultations primarily at a local medical center.
This is a permanent employed opportunity (not open to locum or visa candidates).
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct inpatient oncology consultations
• Cover clinic locations in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa
• Participate in shared call rotation
• Collaborate with hospitalist team for inpatient support
• Develop and grow a personalized oncology practice within a supportive medical group
• Utilize advanced technology and integrated oncology services
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (within 3 years of residency; must become BC within 1 year of employment)
• Active Iowa and Illinois medical licenses (or willing to obtain)
• DEA and CSR/CDS (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Clean malpractice history preferred (no active probate cases or supervision requirements)
• Recent NPDB self-query report required
• Not accepting locum or visa candidates

• Outpatient clinic coverage with inpatient consult responsibilities
