Deliver world-class cancer care while expanding access to underserved communities across southern Colorado. An established, high-performing oncology team in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time, permanent opportunity with meaningful rural outreach.

This is a unique chance to combine academic-level cancer care with community-focused medicine—serving patients locally in Colorado Springs while dedicating approximately 6 days per month to outreach clinics in Lamar, CO and Trinidad, CO (2–3 hours travel).

🩺 Position Highlights

  • Full-time, permanent placement

  • Primarily based in Colorado Springs, CO

  • Outreach to Lamar, CO and Trinidad, CO (~6 days/month)

  • Flexible 4-day work week model

  • Limited shared call

  • EPIC EMR (system-wide)

  • Practice within a physician-led medical group focused on quality and innovation

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology team environment

👩‍⚕️ Practice Environment

  • Established team of 12 physicians and 8 APPs

  • Dedicated nurse navigators, social workers, and robust support staff

  • Comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology services

  • Strong collaboration with a centralized cancer center team

  • Active involvement in quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives

  • Opportunities for continued clinical growth within an academically anchored health system

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $489,000 – $543,000 annually

  • Quality and/or productivity bonus eligibility

📋 Required for Submission

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified

  • Active Colorado License OR Willing To Obtain

  • DEA (obtained prior to start)

  • BLS (per facility standards)

  • Willingness to provide rural outreach (~6 days/month)
