Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Colorado Springs, CO!

Become part of a dedicated group within an esteemed medical facility that delivers world-class cancer care in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This opportunity involves outreach to rural communities, ensuring compassionate care is available to underserved populations.

As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, you will primarily practice in Colorado Springs while providing essential outreach services to Lamar and Trinidad. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a high-performing team of medical professionals who are focused on innovation, patient outcomes, and equitable cancer care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and affiliated clinic settings.
  • Join an established practice consisting of 12 physicians, 8 APPs, and a robust multidisciplinary support team.
  • Deliver outreach services to rural clinics in Lamar and Trinidad, approximately six days per month.
  • Collaborate closely with the cancer center team for coordinated patient care.
  • Practice within a physician-led medical group focused on achieving high-quality outcomes.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management.
  • Participate in a flexible four-day work week model with limited call responsibilities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered cancer care programs.
  • Support and engage in clinical growth opportunities within an academically anchored health system.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Active Colorado Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
  • DEA License.
  • Willingness to provide rural outreach services to Lamar and Trinidad approximately 6 days per month.
  • A passion for rural medicine and oncology care.
  • Committed to delivering equitable cancer care to underserved populations.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Colorado Medical License (must obtain prior to start).
  • DEA License (must be obtained prior to start).
  • BLS certification as required by facility standards.
