URGENT Hem/Onc Coverage Needed in Minneapolis, MN | IMLC Accepted

We are seeking a Board-Certified (Triple Boarded) Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locums or locums-to-permanent inpatient opportunity. This position requires malignant hematology experience and the ability to provide inpatient coverage with call responsibilities.

Position Details

• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology (Inpatient)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension and potential buyout

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Call: PM and weekend call required

• Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred (minimum 2 weeks per month)

• Setting: Inpatient hospital and infusion center

Practice Highlights

• APP support during weekday daytime hours (hematology and oncology services)

• No APP support during call or weekends

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital affiliation with 590-bed facility

• May also include shifts at additional affiliated hospital locations

• Patient Volume:

  • 30–40 shared patients

  • 20–23 patients per day, per provider

Clinical Requirements

• Malignant hematology required

• Medical Oncology (solid tumor) coverage required

• Infusion coverage required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required

Requirements

• Board Certification: Triple Board Certified – Internal Medicine + Hematology + Oncology (Required)

• Active Minnesota license – Required (IMLC accepted)

• DEA – Required

• BLS Certification – Required
