Position Overview:
Cancer Center in Colorado Springs is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their established, high-performing team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role includes dedicated outreach to rural communities in Lamar and Trinidad, delivering compassionate, world-class cancer care across southern Colorado.
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and affiliated clinic settings.
- Join an established practice consisting of 12 physicians, 8 APPs, and a robust multidisciplinary support team, including nurse navigators and social workers.
- Deliver dedicated outreach services (up to 6 days per month) to rural clinics in Lamar, CO and Trinidad, CO (approximately 2–3 hours from Colorado Springs).
- Collaborate closely with the comprehensive cancer center team based in Colorado Springs for coordinated patient care.
- Practice within a physician-led medical group focused on innovation, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR, implemented system-wide.
- Participate in a flexible four-day work week model.
- Share in limited call responsibilities within the group.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered cancer care programs.
- Support and engage in clinical growth opportunities within an academically anchored health system.

Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Colorado Medical License (must obtain prior start)
- DEA License (must be obtained before starting)
- Willingness to provide rural outreach (Lamar & Trinidad, approximately 6 days/month)
