Job Responsibilities
- Provide medical hematology and oncology coverage 4 to 5 days per week
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage chemotherapy
- Offer inpatient and potential telehealth consultations
- Collaborate with existing providers on radiation and surgical oncology management
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Active IA License or Active IMLC
- Fellowship Trained in Hematology Oncology
- Must have clean malpractice/background
Working Hours
- Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- On Call: Yes, exact schedule TBD
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance
- Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with nursing and clinic support staff.
