Locum Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Grove City, Ohio

Hematology/Medical Oncology Locum –Grove City (OH)

Seeking a full-time Hematology/Medical Oncology physician to start ASAP (target March) for an assignment anticipated through June, with preference for a provider interested in a longer-term engagement.

Practice Setting

• Primary location: Mount Carmel Grove City Cancer Center

• Fully integrated onsite cancer center

• 12 total exam rooms (9 dedicated to Medical Oncology)

• Infusion center with 16 chairs and 2 private infusion rooms

• Robust multidisciplinary support including:

  • Advanced Practice Providers

  • RN Navigators

  • Social Workers

  • Dieticians

  • Oncology Pharmacist

  • Research and Genetics services

Clinical Responsibilities

• Comprehensive outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology care

• New consults (30–45 minutes) and follow-ups (15–20 minutes)

• Collaborative care with radiation oncology, surgical specialists, and hospital teams

• Participation in multidisciplinary care planning

• Inpatient support provided by private practice APPs

• No required procedures

Schedule & Call

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM outpatient clinic

• After-hours answering service; only urgent calls escalated

• Weekend call limited to Grove City location

• No heavy inpatient call burden

• If less than full-time (minimum 2 days/week), provider must remain available for patient-related calls

Requirements

• ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required

• Active Ohio license (IMLC not accepted due to urgency) – Required

• Clean background – Required

• Self-Query NPDB – Required at submission

• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams – Required

• International medical graduates welcome if ABMS certified

• Preference for long-term assignment interest
