Position Overview:
Hematology/Oncology Clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dedicated, innovative team that focuses on providing world-class cancer care with a commitment to advancing treatments and clinical trials in a highly supportive, collaborative environment.
Job Description:
As a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Fort Collins, CO; the provider will be responsible for:
- Daytime shifts with potential flexibility depending on scheduling needs.
- Providing direct patient care for individuals with various types of cancer and hematological disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
- Working alongside a team of nine physicians, eight advanced practice providers (APPs), and support staff to deliver disease-specific care.
- Collaborating with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for patients.
- Staying at the forefront of innovative treatments and technologies in the field of oncology.
- Utilizing EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient care across the healthcare system.
- Participating in clinical research and applying new treatment methodologies.
- Offering consultations, second opinions, and treatment plans for complex cancer cases.
- Collaborating with a progressive team of clinicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
- Minimal call responsibility, shared with a large team of other clinicians and hospitalists.
Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Active CO License (or willingness to obtain)
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) -
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
