- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. We are seeking full coverage for 5 days a week in 2026, with some weekend call availability. The hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour weekend call. Weekday call will be shared with the employed provider(s) and includes responding to RN inquiries regarding patients' concerns, chemotherapy treatments, and minimal consults from the ED. The provider will care for approximately 17 patients per day, spending 1 hour on new patients and 20 minutes on follow-ups. Support staff includes one medical assistant and several RNs, with an EMR system in place (Mosiaq). The clinic features an 18-bed chemotherapy suite, dedicated pharmacists for chemotherapy education, and is housed alongside radiation oncology. It is a COC-accredited cancer center with weekly tumor boards and access to clinical trials, including Phase 2 and 3 studies. Board certification or eligibility is required.

Job Responsibilities
* Respond to RN inquiries about patients' concerns, chemotherapy treatments, and minimal ED consults.
* Manage a patient load of 17 per day, with 1 hour allocated for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-ups.
* Work with medical assistants and RNs to provide high-quality patient care.
* Participate in weekly tumor boards and collaborate on clinical trials.
* Oversee chemotherapy education, with support from dedicated pharmacists.
Qualifications
* Experience in oncology and chemotherapy management.
* Ability to manage a moderate patient load and handle on-call inquiries efficiently.
* Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Mosiaq, is preferred.
Working Hours
* Weekend call on a rotating 24-hour basis.
* Some shared weekday call with employed provider(s).
Skills
* Excellent communication skills for handling patient and staff inquiries.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
* Efficiency in managing patient care within the allotted time frame.
* Familiarity with oncology clinical trials and tumor boards.
