Required Skills:
- Medical degree and valid medical license with appropriate credentials in Hematology and Oncology
- Proven experience in outpatient cancer care
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a stand-alone cancer center
- Familiarity with inpatient oncology procedures
- Additional certifications in oncology or hematology
- Experience with on-call responsibilities and emergency protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting
- Prior locum or temp assignment experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 2 weeks per month, with flexible scheduling
- Availability for 4-5 day workweeks, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm shifts
- Participation in a 1:4 call rotation, including weekends
- Credentialing estimated to take 6-8 weeks
- Successful completion of EPIC EMR training, including 4 hours of unpaid orientation
- Must hold valid licensure, certifications, and be eligible for licensure extension
- Travel and lodging arrangements will be coordinated and reimbursed
