Locums – Coos Bay, Oregon | Hematology/Oncology
Role Type: Outpatient, free-standing cancer center
Coverage: ASAP, ongoing, minimum 2 weeks/month
Schedule:
- 4–5 days/week, 8:30a–4:30p
- Admin day or half day if needed
- Call: 1 weekend/month, 1:4 rotation
- Function as part of patient care team performing tasks/procedures consistent with Hematology/Oncology licensure
- EMR: EPIC
- Number of physicians: 3
- Trauma Level: III
- Outpatient: 10–15/day
- Inpatient: Only chemo admissions
- 80% oncology, 20% hematology
- Benign heme cases referred out
- Radiation oncologists present
- 2 APPs currently provide coverage
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active OR license preferred (can assist in obtaining)
- DEA: verbal confirmation required
